A wonderful village, which deserves the effigy of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy". It has clearly been renovated over time, but this has been done intelligently, without distorting what was presumably the original appearance. In the center of the square, in front of the castle, there is a magnificent centuries-old lime tree, which between May and June fills with very fragrant flowers, which attract swarms of buzzing bees.
Beautiful & romantic! We visited the castle in 2022 and again this year (2024). Both stays were very beneficial. Here you can find peace and quiet in nature, and the small town of Strassoldo also has a lot to offer culturally. As is well known in Italy, the food is great as always. For me a very clear recommendation. The house keeper is incredibly sweet! The large garden is fenced off, so the castle is also suitable for children. ?
Es war sehr schön, in einem historischen Schloss mit grosszügigen Räumen und wunderschönem Park zu wohnen. Die Gastgeberin und ihre nette Dame für alles bemühen sich, einem den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Lage ist für einen Urlaub in Friaul perfekt, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in Kürze erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder
